How to Export Your LinkedIn Connections into Facebook

Export your LinkedIn Connections to Facebook

Did you know that LinkedIn allows you to export all of your connections out of LinkedIn?  Why would you want to do that?

The most compelling reason, in my opinion, is because you can upload these connections into Facebooks Ads Manager.

Facebook will match up the information of these people with the email addresses inside of Facebook.  When a match is found, Facebook allows you to add this connection to a custom list.

If you have something that you want to promote on Facebook, you can then launch an add to this custom audience and it is MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE than advertising to a cold audience. Facebook knows that this person was already your lead, so they give you a bit of a break.

If that doesn't excite you, consider this: you can then take that custom audience and ask Facebook to create a "Look Alike Audience".

Facebook uses a fancy algorithm to find other people who look very similar to your existing audience and creates a much larger audience, just like it. As in, 2 million people or more.

You can then narrow the audience down by zip code, age, gender, favorite hobbies, tv shows, lifestyle, income, spending behavior, political affiliation, net worth, and on and on.

This short video walks you through export process, step by step.
