  “Around 180,000 people in the US were paying for subscriptions to Twitter, including Twitter Blue, as of mid-January, or less than 0.2% of monthly active users […] The U.S. number is about 62% of Twitter’s global subscriber total, the document says, which implies Twitter has 290,000 global subscribers.” Read the full article here.

• Big news from Google…they said yesterday  that its new conversational AI service, called Bard, would be opening up to trusted testers, and that it is readying the service for the public “in the coming weeks.” The technology aims to generate detailed answers when given simple prompts, such as what to make for lunch or how to plan a friend’s baby shower.

• Apparently Twitter  is  considering charging $1, 000 per month for brands to be granted a gold tick mark. The new package would also then let you effectively verify your own staff with Twitter’s official brand logo marker, but that will cost you an extra $50 per employee added. Click here to learn more.

• Also in Twitter news…they  have now expanded Twitter Blue access to Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain, which will let millions more Twitter users potentially sign-up for a verification tick. Click here to learn more.
