• Meta crashed hard in the stock market and in fact that one-day crash now ranks as the worst in stock-market history.

• Some users are now seeing an option within their Instagram highlights that lets them tap on a Reels icon to convert the highlight over to a short Reels clip. The process then lets you synch the highlight to music, providing a whole new way to create Reels content.

• Instagram is also apparently experimenting with longer Reels clips.

• Twitter’s currently working on a new option called ‘Articles’, which appears to provide a means to create blog posts within the app, which would then, be shareable, in some form, via tweet.

• Facebook has announced that they are removing video profile images as of February 7th, if you have a video profile image being reverted back to a still picture instead.
