Facebook ads can sometimes be frustrating, I know. There is definitely a steep learning curve (but it does pay off to learn how to do do Facebook ads well!).
Facebook lead generation ads, however, are pretty straight forward, and very effective. The main thing you want to make sure of before you launch one of these ads is that the lead magnet you are putting out there is something people want. If you aren't sure, keep a close eye on your ad right after you launch it; if you aren't getting any leads, turn it off!
This isn't a terrible way to test the market for any idea, actually. Have an idea for a course? Send out a related lead magnet via a Facebook lead generation ad and if you don't get any takers, you might want to re-think your course idea. On the flip side, if you get lots of leads (and I hope you do!), it will be a true indicator that you are on the right track.
